Position: Manager, Software Engineering Location: Irving, TX (On-site/Hybrid) Company: Symbiotic Services (on behalf of a leading global retail brand) Overview Symbiotic Services is recruiting a Software Engineering Manager to lead high-impact digital development teams for a globally recognized convenience and retail brand. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can drive innovation, deliver scalable software systems, and manage cross-functional development teams aligned with strategic digital transformation goals. Key Responsibilities Oversee full software development lifecycle for enterprise systems.

Lead complex, high-visibility development projects with strong ROI focus. Define and execute technical strategies and roadmaps in collaboration with business leaders. Instill and enforce best practices for coding, architecture, testing, and documentation.

Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and efficient technical solutions. Drive delivery timelines, stakeholder management, and resource planning. Ensure operational excellence and reliability of production services.

Coach, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of engineers. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent. 10+ years of experience with RESTful APIs and server-side technologies.

7+ years of hands-on software development (Java, JavaScript, C#, or full stack). 3+ years in a software engineering leadership role with direct people management. Strong proficiency in microservices, cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), and CI/CD automation.
