Job Summary:

The AI Software Developer, Staff will design and implement advanced AI solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to address complex business challenges using Generative AI and software engineering best practices.
Responsibilities:
• Applies knowledge and experience to design, develop, create, modify, and validate software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs.
• Design and implement GenAI agents and applications.
• Develop and implement data pipelines, ensuring seamless integrations
• Design and implement APIs to make generative AI agents, data, and models accessible, adhering to software engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with developers, data scientists, and business teams to implement GenAI solutions.
• Stay abreast of the latest AI research and technologies, evaluating and adopting them to maintain our competitive edge.
• Communicate complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.
• Participates in the design, coding for large features, unit testing, significant debugging fixes, and integration efforts to ensure projects are completed to specifications and schedules.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of IT-relevant work experience with Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems).
• OR 7+ years of IT-relevant work experience without a Bachelor’s degree.
• 4+ years of work experience with Full-stack Application Development (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.).
• 3+ years of work experience with Data Structures, algorithms, and data stores.
Preferred:
• Advanced degree (MS) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software development, data science, data analytics, or related field.
• Experience working with Patent systems.
• Architecture and systems design expertise for distributed, event-driven, and API-first systems with strong reliability and security postures.
• LLM/AI ecosystem expertise: orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, Semantic Kernel), RAG/search patterns, evaluation/guardrails, vector indexing; experience standardizing agentic patterns at scale.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
• Strong technical depth in Languages/Frameworks: Python, Java, TypeScript, Angular / React and React Native for web.
• Data: SQL and NoSQL systems; Search/Elasticsearch (design, indexing, performance tuning).
• Cloud expertise / Certified – Azure/AWS/GCP.
• Strong debugging and analysis skills, for root causing complex issues.
• High degree of autonomy in task management.
• Experience working within large global matrix organizations.
