As a Project Manager at CAKE, you will use your strong user experience background to contribute to product development efforts related to the company's Business-to-Business digital analytics marketing platform. This will be a key role in helping to ensure CAKE is continuously providing enhancements and new product solutions to improve the overall customer experience.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Context switch between seven (7) different products
  • Ability to talk scrum daily and waterfall monthly
  • Partake in daily stand-ups
  • Participate in Backlog Grooming and Sprint Planning activities
  • Document blockers and regularly followed up on them
  • Work with Product Team to gather open business requirements on stories
  • Prepare Backlog for grooming, and carry near-term Roadmap vision into execution stage
  • Manage scrum and kanban boards and make sure tickets are in the right state
  • Focus on the execution plan, and handle sprint deviations, and coordination among the engineering team
  • Assist in monthly and quarterly reports on project capitalization

Communication/Teamwork
  • Proactively engage Engineers and Product team to record project state changes
  • Express novel ideas and complex concepts clearly and effectively verbally and in writing
  • Operate with transparency in all situations
  • Set expectations across the organization

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Must be extremely structured and organized
  • Strong memory; ability to quickly deliver information and knowledge about the current project state
  • Persistence in following up with others to track down information
  • Ability to work independently and as a productive, helpful team member
  • Skill to manage multiple priorities with limited supervision
  • Accurate and precise documentation skills
  • Ability to grasp project objectives and functional requirements, in order to assess when changes have occurred so you can record them
  • Experience with Jira or similar project management tools
  • Experience with FreshDesk or similar support tools
  • Experienced in web technology terminology and nomenclature is desirable
