Our projects involve the planning, permitting, production, coordination, and installation of commercial signage for customers and job sites across multiple markets. We need an experienced leader who understands how to manage projects with a lot of moving parts—and how to lead the team responsible for keeping those projects on track.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

As the manager of our Project Coordinator Department, you will oversee the team responsible for coordinating sign projects from initial project handoff through final installation and completion.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead, manage, coach, and develop our Project Coordinator team
  • Oversee multiple commercial sign projects at various stages of completion
  • Review project workloads and establish priorities for the department
  • Ensure projects are progressing according to customer and installation deadlines
  • Oversee coordination of site surveys, permits, landlord approvals, engineering, production, shipping, and installation
  • Work closely with Sales, Design, Purchasing, Production, Installation, and Accounting
  • Coordinate with general contractors, property managers, customers, vendors, subcontractors, installers, and municipalities
  • Monitor project schedules and proactively identify potential delays or problems
  • Assist with escalated customer and project issues
  • Ensure accurate and timely project documentation and communication
  • Hold team members accountable for follow-up, accuracy, deadlines, and customer communication
  • Conduct project reviews and department meetings
  • Improve project management procedures and departmental workflows
  • Help ensure projects are completed efficiently, accurately, and profitably

Who We're Looking For:

We are looking for a seasoned Project Manager and strong people leader who understands construction-related project management and knows how to keep projects moving.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Project Management experience in the sign industry, commercial construction, specialty contracting, or a related field
  • Sign industry project management experience is highly preferred
  • Previous experience managing or supervising Project Managers, Project Coordinators, or similar staff
  • Experience working with general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, permits, surveys, job sites, and installation schedules
  • Ability to manage a high volume of projects simultaneously
  • Strong leadership and team-development skills
  • Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to identify issues early and take ownership of finding solutions
  • Comfortable setting expectations and holding team members accountable
  • Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail

Sign industry experience is a major plus, but we are also interested in experienced construction Project Managers with strong leadership backgrounds.

Candidates with experience in commercial signage, architectural signage, electrical signs, construction, specialty contracting, architectural products, or multi-location rollouts are encouraged to apply.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager who is ready to take ownership of a department, lead a team, improve processes, and play an important role in the successful completion of commercial sign projects.
