Job Description:
Position: Scrum Master โ Geospatial Intelligence, Electric Business Analytics & Operations Data Engineering
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning across Geospatial Intelligence, Electric Business Analytics, and Operations Data Engineering product teams.
- Coordinate Agile delivery across multiple product teams, ensuring alignment of priorities, sprint goals, cross-team dependencies, and delivery milestones.
- Partner with Product Owners, GIS Engineers, Data Engineers, Business Analysts, Architects, and business stakeholders to maintain healthy backlogs and drive value-based prioritization.
- Support delivery of Enterprise GIS, geospatial analytics, operational data engineering, business intelligence, cloud data platforms, APIs, and real-time data integration initiatives.
- Drive Agile best practices, continuous improvement, and Scrum governance while coaching teams on Agile maturity and delivery excellence.
- Monitor sprint progress, team velocity, capacity, risks, blockers, and dependencies, proactively driving issue resolution and executive visibility.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including GIS, Data Engineering, Cloud, Infrastructure, Integration, Security, and vendor partners to ensure successful project execution.
- Support release planning, production deployments, implementation readiness, and post-release stabilization across multiple product teams.
- Maintain Agile dashboards, sprint metrics, burndown charts, RAID logs, KPIs, and executive reporting using Azure DevOps, Primavera P6, or similar project management and Agile Delivery tools.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication and executive reporting, ensuring transparency around project health, risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with PMO/Platform Scrum Master (RTE) and leadership teams to support project planning, resource forecasting, portfolio reporting, and governance activities across the Data & Analytics organization.
- Ensure alignment between product roadmaps, enterprise data strategy, geospatial initiatives, and business objectives supporting utility operations and critical infrastructure.
Qualifications
- 5โ10 years of experience in IT project delivery, Agile programs, or Scrum leadership roles.
- 3โ5 years of experience as a Scrum Master supporting enterprise Data & Analytics, GIS, Geospatial Intelligence, Data Engineering, or Business Intelligence initiatives.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, backlog management, sprint planning, release management, cross-team dependency management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar Agile and enterprise project management tools.
- Experience supporting Enterprise GIS (Esri or similar), cloud data platforms, operational data engineering, analytics, or utility industry initiatives is highly preferred, along with excellent communication and facilitation skills.
