Job description

Job Summary

We’re seeking a licensed Professional Surveyor to join our growing team as a Survey Project Manager. In this role, you’ll lead a variety of land surveying projects from start to finish, manage field crews, and serve as the primary client contact. If you’re a detail-oriented leader with strong technical skills and a passion for mentoring others, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple surveying projects, budgets, schedules, and deliverables
  • Lead field surveys and oversee data collection, processing, and analysis
  • Use advanced equipment (GPS/GNSS, robotic total stations, 3D laser scanners)
  • Apply AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley OpenRoads, and Trimble Business Center software
  • Conduct boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, construction staking, and as-built surveys
  • Supervise and mentor field crews and survey technicians
  • Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular project updates
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and internal quality standards
  • Promote safety and uphold KS Associates’s Health and Safety Plan
Qualifications
  • Valid Professional Land Surveyor (PS) license in Ohio (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Surveying and Mapping, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • 7–10 years of progressive experience in land surveying project management
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley OpenRoads
  • Experience with Trimble software and surveying equipment
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Valid Ohio driver’s license and reliable transportation
