Job Description:

Salary Range:$115,000.00 To 180,000.00 Annually

The Project Manager will lead and guide the project team on assigned projects in each phase including pre-construction, construction, closeout, and post-construction services. CM&B is a collaborative team environment in which the Project Manager will learn and grow under the direction of the Project Executives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leadership support for CM&B project team โ€“ superintendents, field staff, project coordinators, administration, and accounting
  • Manage multiple projects while consistently delivering a high level of satisfaction to our clients by communicating and maintaining schedules, deadlines and clear expectations to all stakeholders
  • Accomplish project results through complete comprehension of project scope/project requirements, establishing/maintaining site standards and protocols, allocating and managing project resources, evaluating construction progress, resolving design issues, evaluating/implementing changes and in being resourceful and assertive at all times as a manager
  • Construction contracts, including preparation and execution of Owner contract prior to construction commencement
  • Insurances/bonding, including confirmation of Owner requirements, initiation of requests for insurance certificates to Owner, and Ownerโ€™s Builderโ€™s Risk insurance coverage
  • Project permitting
  • Preparation of subcontracts and purchase orders, including scope development, subcontractor/material supplier buy strategies and negotiations, subcontract preparation and all accountability for required subcontractor deliverables (insurances, supplier/vendor listings, joint check agreements, etc.)
  • Project safety, including management of consultant services, site-specific job hazard analysis and accomplishment of start-to-finish site safety objectives
  • Project cost management including preparation of project control estimates, cash flow forecasts, margin forecasts, monthly cost meetings and invoice approvals

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Construction Management or related field
  • 5+ yearsโ€™ experience in the construction field
  • Knowledge of Procore, MS Project, Blue Beam, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • A valid driverโ€™s license; reliable transportation
  • Professional communication skills with ability to create and maintain strong relationships within the team at CM&B and with outside clients, subcontractors and vendors
  • Strong time management skills with ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
