Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for delivery of client-facing implementation projects within an engineering-driven environment. This role will assist and then eventually own project execution across scope, timeline, budget, and quality, ensuring alignment with both client objectives and technical delivery constraints.
The Project Manager supports the delivery of client implementation projects by coordinating project activities, tracking milestones, managing project documentation, and facilitating communication among internal and external stakeholders. Working under the guidance of senior project management leadership, this role develops project management expertise while contributing to successful delivery outcomes.
Responsibilities
Client Implementation & Delivery Ownership
  • Support the delivery of client implementation projects by coordinating project activities, tracking milestones, and ensuring project plans remain current.
  • Assist senior project management leadership in managing project execution and delivery objectives.
  • Ensure successful project completion, including testing, client acceptance, and production readiness

Planning, Financial, and Risk Management
  • Assist in eveloping and maintain detailed project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, timelines, and milestone tracking
  • Track project budgets, resource utilization, and project metrics; escalate variances and risks to senior project leadership.
  • Identify project risks and dependencies and escalate issues requiring management intervention.
  • Govern scope through structured change control processes, ensuring alignment with contractual and financial implications

Engineering & Cross-Functional Execution
  • Partner with engineering, product, and QA teams to coordinate delivery across the software development lifecycle
  • Drive execution across distributed, cross-functional teams without direct reporting authority
  • Monitor project health using defined metrics and implement corrective actions as needed

Stakeholder & Client Leadership
  • Participate in client meetings, provide project status updates, and support stakeholder communications under the direction of senior project management leadership.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation strategies to internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership
  • Facilitate alignment between technical and business stakeholders to support timely decision-making
  • Drive client satisfaction and retention through proactive communication and delivery excellence

Requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate project activities and manage deliverables within structured project environments.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and implementation delivery models
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and navigate ambiguity across concurrent initiatives
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders without direct authority
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities in a collaborative environment.

Technical & Systems Proficiency
  • Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies

  • Familiarity with enterprise software implementations, data integration, and system workflows
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools

Experience
  • 2-5 years of project management or consulting experience, including client-facing software implementations
  • Experience in financial services, alternative investments, or lending platforms preferred
  • PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, or equivalent certification preferred

Education/Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field
