Do you have an eye for detail and enjoy developing tailored proposals for exciting IT projects? As an IT Bid Manager, you'll be the driving force behind successful bids in Malaga! You'll coordinate the entire proposal process, work closely with experts from various teams, and ensure that our proposals are compelling both strategically and formally. Sound exciting? Key responsibilities:

  • End-to-end ownership of IT bid management, including tender identification, bid/no-bid decisions, proposal submission, and handover to delivery teams
  • Developing high-quality, compliant IT proposals in line with technical, commercial, legal, and regulatory requirements, deadlines, and quality standards
  • Leading compliance management, clarification handling, and formal communications throughout public procurement processes (e.g. RFPs, RFQs, framework calls)
  • Coordinating closely with internal and external stakeholders, including solution architects, PMO, finance, delivery teams, partners, clients, and public institutions
  • Managing commercial inputs such as pricing coordination, margin alignment, assumptions, and risk contingencies in collaboration with finance and delivery leads
  • Preparing and chairing internal bid reviews and governance milestones (e.g. bid/no bid, red team reviews, final approvals)
  • Monitoring market trends and competitors while continuously optimizing bid processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency and win rates
  • Developing and maintaining bid templates, standard responses, and compelling winning themes to ensure consistency and scalability
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (or comparable training) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, Law or related fields
  • Previous experience in IT bid management or proposal development in Spain
  • In-depth knowledge of public IT tenders, procurement procedures, and contract drafting, as well as proficiency in using tender platforms and bid management tools
  • A structured, detail-oriented, and efficient work style with strong time and project management skills to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and close collaboration with internal departments such as the PMO and solution architects
  • Goal-oriented work with a focus on the implementation of IT tenders and the successful completion of bids
  • Comfortable working under pressure in competitive, deadlinedriven environments with multiple stakeholders
  • A high level of English (C1) is required. Knowledge of German is highly valued but not mandatory
