Our client has played a significant role in building the infrastructure that supports these industries, delivering high-quality design-build projects across Lethbridge and the surrounding region for more than 40 years.
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join a respected and growing contractor in Lethbridge, Alberta. This role offers the opportunity to lead a diverse portfolio of agricultural, commercial, and light industrial projects that directly contribute to the region's continued growth and economic success.
From agricultural processing facilities and equipment storage buildings to distribution centres, manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and commercial developments, you'll oversee projects that help drive Southern Alberta's thriving business community.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated construction professional who enjoys managing complex projects, building strong client relationships, and delivering quality results from concept through completion.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead projects from pre-construction planning through final completion, ensuring schedules, budgets, quality standards, and client expectations are consistently achieved.
  • Manage agricultural, commercial, and light industrial construction projects, including pre-engineered steel buildings, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, agri-business operations, and commercial developments.
  • Collaborate closely with Site Superintendents, consultants, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project success.
  • Proactively identify risks, resolve challenges, and implement solutions to maintain project momentum.
  • Oversee project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and contract administration.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams while serving as the primary point of communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure all projects meet company quality standards and maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies to identify opportunities for efficiency and improved project outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of project management experience within commercial, agricultural, industrial, or design-build construction environments.
  • Experience managing pre-engineered steel buildings, agricultural facilities, food processing projects, warehouses, distribution centres, manufacturing facilities, or commercial developments is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and project controls.
  • Gold Seal Certification is considered an asset.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Proven leadership skills with a collaborative, solutions-focused approach.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.
  • Valid driver's license and eligibility to work in Canada.
WHY JOIN?
  • Join a respected Southern Alberta contractor with over four decades of industry success.
  • Lead impactful projects that support the region's agricultural, commercial, and industrial growth.
  • Work alongside an experienced and collaborative team that values integrity, accountability, and excellence.
  • Competitive compensation package of $100,000 - $130,000 plus performance-based bonuses.
  • Comprehensive benefits including extended health, dental, vision care, and paid time off.
  • Supportive workplace culture that promotes professional growth and long-term career development.
  • Opportunity to leave a lasting impact by helping build the facilities and infrastructure that power Southern Alberta's economy.
If you're ready to take ownership of meaningful projects and contribute to the continued growth of Lethbridge's agricultural, commercial, and industrial sectors, we'd love to hear from you.
