Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of Data Center projects. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by leading the project team members to achieve project requirements, deliver contracted deliverables, and meet the committed project result.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
  • Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.
  • Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued.
  • Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Bachelor's Degree with minimum 8 years experience managing complex technical and or system implementation projects.
  • Direct experience in data centers, critical facilities, or heavy industrial power distribution environments with a strong understanding of electrical power systems
  • Proven track record managing scope, schedule, cost, risk, and stakeholders for high value large scale projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Preferred Experience Includes: Engineering Degree - Lean Six Sigma and/or PMP Certifications - Proficiency in project management tools and methodology such as Monday.com - Low Voltage A/C or Synchronous Motor experience.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to project sites (10-20% travel).
  • Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
