MAC Reliability Services is a division of McPherson Oil that specializes in offering industrial lubrication services. The ideal candidate has a wealth of experience leading high velocity oil flushing, oil filtration, and chemical cleaning operations within the industrial manufacturing, power gen, and oil & gas industry. Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Lead teams of oil flushing project managers and technicians including recruiting, training, succession planning, and competency development.
  • Responsible for the financial performance of all flushing operations including project profitability, labor and equipment utilization, job costing and operating expenses.
  • Coordinate with sales and project management to develop proposals and job cost estimates that reflect target profitability goals.
  • Responsible for ensuring that safe work practices are adhered to implementing and maintaining jobsite safety program and coordinating with corporate HSE to ensure compliance.
  • Responsible for sourcing and maintaining all major equipment including flushing pumps, filter housings, vacuum dehydrators, varnish mitigation skids, and generators.
  • Assist with and execute high velocity oil flushing, chemical cleaning, varnish mitigation, reservoir cleaning, and oil filtration/dehydration projects as needed
  • Responsible for maintaining a high standard of quality, safety, professionalism and customer satisfaction.
  • This position will report to the General Manager โ€“ MAC Reliability and will work alongside the Field Services Manager
Position Requirements:
  • 15+ Years experience in high velocity oil flushing and chemical cleaning operations
  • 5+ Years experience of team management including recruiting and hiring.
  • Experience working in industrial environments including pulp & paper, metals manufacturing, power generation, petrochemical, and oil & gas preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of rotating equipment, filtration systems, valves and piping systems including gas & steam turbines, compressors, hydraulics, paper machines, etc.
  • Familiar with OEM and industry ISO and API standards for lube oil flushing.
  • Ability to read and markup P&IDs
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work safely in industrial settings, including confined areas and elevated platforms
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overnight, overtime and travel to customer sites
  • Clean driving record for the past 3 years.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.
Preferred Skills / Experience:
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree
  • Industry certifications including CLS, MLT, OMA
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and achieve department objectives.
  • Ability to create and maintain a positive work environment and culture.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate a team.
  • Ability to make recommendations and communicate with all levels of management, customers, and vendors.
  • Ability to make independent fact-based decisions in a quick and responsive manner with little to no supervision.
  • Experience with hiring, coaching, training, and managing individuals in your department.
  • Proven experience identifying problems of varying complexities and finding effective solutions with few guidelines.
  • Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Must be team-oriented, highly organized, detail-oriented, and have successfully demonstrated the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrate a professional and positive attitude in all internal and external customer interactions.
  • Self-starter and independent thinker with the ability to take initiative and make sound decisions.
  • Responsive to the needs of internal and external customers with a sense of urgency and commitment to follow up.
  • Solid customer experience skills and ability to build value-added relationships.
  • Advance computer skills with proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc. previous sophisticated ERP system experience preferred.

The work of this position is performed in both inside and outside environments in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. The position requires the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs. Frequent bending, stooping, and climbing are required. In this position, associates may be exposed to hazardous materials, vapors, fumes, and extreme weather conditions. Proper PPE is provided for employees working in these conditions.
