P & C is growing and we have an opportunity for the right candidate to join our team. We are looking for an experienced commercial construction project manager. The ideal candidate will have experience estimating, bidding and managing projects for clients with high standards

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Lead project team in all components of assigned projects.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, effectively achieving project goals at the right cost and profit margins.
  • Ensure materials used are in compliance with any and all construction documents and applicable code requirements.
  • Negotiates contracts, subcontracts, changes, project schedules and any other multiparty facets of the project.
  • Prepare, submit, and track all required submittals for awarded scopes
  • Manage changes and claims.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure deliverables are met in compliance with all contract requirements.
  • Manage project payables and receivables.
  • Manage project expenses.
  • Monitor subcontractor compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Commercial construction experience (superintendent, project assistant, project engineer, estimator, project manager)
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of construction delivery methods and agreements, along with standard administrative procedures and processes
  • Detail oriented
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Proficiency in MS Project (or similar)

Preferred:

  • At least 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management
  • Proficiency in Sage 100 or similar construction accounting software.
  • Proficiency in Procore (or similar) project management software
