The Project Manager is responsible for leading the structured planning, execution, and delivery of projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring work is completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Serving as the central point of contact for stakeholders, the Project Manager delivers clear communication, anticipates risks and potential issues, and applies structured analysis to resolve problems and ensure successful outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Initiation: Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements by developing structured, detail-oriented project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures.
  • Execution and Team Management: Facilitate meetings, standups, and check-ins to maintain momentum, ensure accountability, and drive timely, accurate execution across cross-functional teams.
  • Stakeholder and Communication Management: Provide clear, factual, and timely status updates through dashboards, performance reports, and presentations.
  • Risk, Issue, and Change Management: Proactively identify risks and issues, apply structured problem analysis, develop contingency plans, and escalate as needed to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Track project budgets, control expenditures, and manage resources efficiently with a disciplined, detail-oriented approach to ensure cost control and delivery commitments are met.
  • Quality and Delivery: Conduct testing, reviews, implementation, lessons learned, and handoffs, ensuring solutions are technically sound, thoroughly vetted, and delivered correctly.

Knowledge/Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, CAPM, or Scrum Master is preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly, facilitate discussions, and manage work in an organized manner.
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana) and presentation software (PowerPoint) to plan, track, and communicate project progress.
