Position description
The Project Manager leads the planning and execution of complex, high-impact projects supporting Eden Prairie Operations. This role coordinates cross-functional resources to deliver large operational projects safely, on time, within budget, and in alignment with business requirements. The position drives continuous improvement initiatives that improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and operational scalability. The Project Manager is also directly responsible for operational integrations, including readiness planning, risk management, process alignment, and transition execution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Project Execution and Delivery: Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules, budgets, resources, governance, and success measures. Lead large, complex Eden Prairie Operations projects from business case and charter development through implementation, stabilization, and formal closeout. Develop and maintain integrated project plans, milestone schedules, risk registers, decision logs, action trackers, and executive status reporting. Coordinate cross-functional teams across Operations, Engineering, Quality, EHS, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, HR, Legal, Facilities, and other adjacent functions. Manage dependencies, resource constraints, scope changes, vendors, and competing priorities; escal...
  • Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence: Develop and document project management standards, templates, and governance models for use within Eden Prairie Operations projects. Standardize risk, issue, and action tracking. Complete and publish After Action Reviews and incorporate learnings into future project execution. Train Eden Prairie Operations teams on project expectations and standards. Maintain an Eden Prairie Operations toolbox and playbook.
  • Organizational Alignment and Accountability: Facilitate governance reviews at all levels, from project teams to steering committees. Establish clear ownership and deliverables for contributors and stakeholders. Maintain visibility into overall project status and drive effective stakeholder communication. Hold teams accountable for commitments and resolve cross-functional conflicts.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Operations Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field and six or more years of applicable project-management, operations, engineering, supply-chain, or continuous-improvement experience; or ten or more years of directly applicable professional experience in lieu of the degree requirement.
  • Seven or more years of experience leading complex, cross-functional projects in manufacturing, operations, engineering, supply chain, or a related environment.
  • Demonstrated success managing projects with significant scope, budget, schedule, resource, and business-continuity requirements.
  • Experience leading operational integrations, acquisitions, site transitions, business transformations, or similarly complex organizational change.
  • Strong knowledge of project charters, work breakdown structures, critical-path scheduling, risk management, change control, governance, and benefits realization.
  • Ability to influence, align, and hold cross-functional stakeholders accountable without direct reporting authority.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, communication, negotiation, and executive-presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project-management, collaboration, reporting, and data-analysis tools.
  • Ability to manage confidential integration and acquisition information with appropriate discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • Experience leading manufacturing integrations.
  • Experience with capital projects, facility transitions, ERP or MES implementations, production transfers, and operational readiness.
  • Experience working in an ISO-certified or similarly controlled manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with change-management frameworks and executive governance.
  • Experience with Monday.com.

Travel required: Travel may be required based on project needs, including support for operational integrations, site transitions, vendor coordination, or cross-functional project activities.
