Job description

  • Lead the overall project including scope, schedule, and budget; 
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and technical teams; review work to ensure that system meets quality and operational requirements; 
  • Partner with DTS for needed technical resources; 
  • Evaluate recommendations from technical staff in determining the priority of phases/modules to be developed; 
  • Plan and prepare status reports to the appropriate stakeholders;
  • Coordinate the detailed work plan and track progress. Refer progress constraint issues and standards exceptions, scope and resource adjustments to appropriate agency management, project leads, committees, and DTS as needed. This would include obtaining approvals for requirements and deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have IT and project management (PM) experience with knowledge of DEQ or environmental permit process. The candidate will be an excellent communicator, detail oriented, extremely organized, and have strong leadership skills with systems-level thinking.
