Job description

If you thrive in a fast-moving environment where no two days look quite the same, this could be your kind of role.

As Brand & Communications Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in influencing and guiding how Sun Peaks Resort and the Sun Peaks Grand Hotel show up in the world. You’ll lead the day-to-day delivery of communications across owned, earned and shared channels, while keeping a talented team moving forward. Priorities can shift quickly in a mountain resort, so we’re looking for someone who brings energy, sound judgement and a positive, solutions-focused approach to the daily pivots that come with the territory.

This is a hands-on People Leader role with real autonomy. You’ll oversee three direct reports, keep plans and projects on track, provide clear direction and feedback, and confidently manage the details, all while coaching your team to think innovatively and approach deadlines with care and transparency.

You’ll be equally comfortable guiding campaign delivery, shaping content and messaging, overseeing social and e-newsletter channels, and working with external social monitoring and publishing platforms.

You’ll also oversee key internal communications activities, including the day-to-day operation of our internal communications platform and collaborative support of our Employee Experience team to keep employees informed, connected and engaged.

Curiosity about performance is equally important. You’ll be comfortable reporting on communications activity, interpreting analytics and using those insights to help guide decisions, refine approaches and strengthen results.

And the backdrop is hard to beat. You’ll do it all surrounded by mountains, outdoor adventure and a welcoming resort community. For someone who loves communications, developing people and life in the mountains, it’s a pretty compelling combination.
