Project Supervisor

Northline Roofing | Charlotte, NC

Overview

Northline Roofing is a growing residential roofing company based in South Charlotte, just outside of the South End area, focused on delivering high-quality workmanship and a consistently professional customer experience.

We are seeking a Project Supervisor to oversee field execution across multiple roofing projects. This role is responsible for ensuring that each job is properly prepared, executed efficiently, and completed to company standards.

The Project Supervisor serves as the primary point of coordination on the jobsite, managing crews, maintaining quality, and ensuring clear communication between the field, office, and customer.

This position reports to the Director of Field Operations.


Key Responsibilities

Field Execution

Oversee daily operations across assigned job sites to ensure projects are completed efficiently and in alignment with scope, schedule, and company standards.

• Manage jobsite activity and ensure readiness prior to installation
• Coordinate materials, labor, and project requirements
• Monitor project timelines and address delays as needed


Crew Oversight

Provide leadership and direction to subcontractors and field teams.

• Communicate expectations clearly and maintain accountability
• Ensure crews are performing work in accordance with specifications
• Address performance issues and maintain professionalism on-site


Quality Assurance

Maintain consistent installation quality across all projects.

• Perform jobsite inspections throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and company standards
• Complete final walkthroughs to verify project completion


Customer & Internal Communication

Serve as the on-site representative of Northline Roofing.

• Communicate effectively with homeowners regarding project progress
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Escalate issues when necessary and provide timely updates


Safety & Compliance

Promote and enforce a safe and compliant jobsite environment.

• Ensure adherence to OSHA, local, and company safety standards
• Maintain awareness of safety procedures and jobsite conditions
• Support incident reporting and corrective actions when required


Reporting & Documentation

Maintain accurate and consistent project documentation.

• Track job progress, labor activity, and production updates
• Document work through photos and system updates
• Provide regular reporting on project status and performance


Qualifications

• Experience in roofing, construction, or field supervision
• Strong understanding of residential roofing systems preferred
• Ability to manage multiple projects and crews simultaneously
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Organized and detail-oriented with a high level of accountability
• Valid North Carolina driver’s license


Work Requirements

• Ability to travel between job sites as required
• Willingness to work extended hours, including long days as needed to support project execution
• Ability to lift and carry materials weighing 50+ lbs

• Comfortable working in outdoor environments and on active construction sites
