Who We Are Looking For:
We are seeking a Project Planning Coordinator to be an important part of the team, working with Project Managers on large projects. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the AEC industry, and an interest in working in a dynamic global design environment with a diverse range of public assembly building types, including sports venues, convention centers, and transportation facilities.
What Your Day Could Consist Of:
  • Assisting the Project Manager in crafting project plans utilizing Deltek Vantagepoint.
  • Oversight and adjustment of project plans as needed in response to any issues.
  • Contributing to the formulation of project proposals by utilizing project plan data.
  • Keeping track of proposal approvals and updating the project plan accordingly.
  • Close collaboration with the Project Accountant and Project Manager to manage invoice submission and tracking.
  • Monitoring project expenses within Vantagepoint and identify any disparities compared to the planned budget.
  • Compilation and distribution of project financial reports for Project Manager and Principals.

Requirements For Success:
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Highly self-motivated, with the ability to excel in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in Deltek Vantagepoint is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Power BI is preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated organizational and multitasking abilities.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role.
  • Previous experience in the AEC industry.

Additional Details:
  • Travel may be required.
  • Overtime may be necessary.
