Overview

Leepfrog Technologies, Inc. provides its CourseLeaf software to more than 500 of the nation’s most academically complex colleges and universities to manager their academic catalogs, curriculum, section scheduling, registration, and syllabi management.


The Project Manager is primarily responsible for managing the implementation tasks for client projects. They will serve as a liaison between internal departments and clients to establish and maintain working relationships and seek solutions to technology issues while maintaining high client satisfaction.


Duties

  • Be the focal point for the dissemination of information from Leepfrog to the client and vice versa while implementing a Courseleaf project.
  • Create and maintain project schedules and tasks, using internal tools and processes.
  • Drive projects to timely completion within development budgets.
  • Efficiently allocate incoming requests to the team, prioritizing actions, and monitoring team resources so that deadlines are met.
  • Partner with Engineering and Consultants to enter, validate, and shepherd project defects to resolution.
  • Collaborate with clients to create a testing plan during the User Acceptance Testing phase to guide clients through tasks that must be completed to meet their ‘go live’ deadline.
  • Apply patches that track configuration and code changes to test and production environments.
  • Maintain an in-depth working knowledge of Leepfrog software and how it can be configured, customized and implemented to meet client requirements.
  • Facilitate internal story planning meetings for project-related deliverables.
  • Own all project-related administrative tasks including scheduling meetings, maintaining project documentation, meeting notes, and project status summaries.
  • Demonstrate preparedness, professionalism, and project leadership to ensure success.
  • Demonstrate discretion and bias towards action to effectively: lead client meetings, manage client concerns, mitigate project risk, and communicate transparently to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Review, identify, develop, and communicate best practices through continuous assessment and feedback to sustain client satisfaction.
  • Partner with internal teams to help define and drive company initiatives to improve our implementation process.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

Skills Required

  • Excellent oral and written communication: clear, concise, professional oral communication. Able to communicate across a wide range of internal and external audiences. Exceptional presentation skills are a must.
  • Strong client orientation: ability to prioritize customer needs and provide exceptional customer service to make clients feel valued.
  • Leadership: demonstrate the ability to build strong internal/external department relationships.
  • Planning: ability to forecast, prioritize, and plan over a 3–12-month time span.
  • Organization: must be organized and know how to keep track of milestones with competing priorities.
  • Meeting facilitation: Facilitates effective meetings by establishing clear objectives, guiding focused discussion, encouraging meaningful participation, managing time, and competing priorities, and documenting decisions, action items, owners, and next steps.
  • Technical Skills: Guide clients through the testing of complex customizations and integrations with external systems. Lead cross-functional troubleshooting of client-reported issues. Run patches and scripts created by technical resources.


Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Project management experience required. PMP certification is desired. Experience with ed-tech and curriculum development is a plus.


Physical Requirements

This position is considered sedentary and will use office equipment, phones, and computers. This position is required to work in the corporate office and may be in a busy, accessible area office, faced with regular interruptions.
