Nickle Electrical, a leader in commercial, institutional, and industrial electrical construction, is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to oversee diverse projects from inception to completion. About the Role
As a Project Manager at Nickle Electrical, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining the company's reputation for excellence. You will support senior management while managing multiple projects, budgets, and teams across the Tri-State area.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee projects from initial scope assessment through completion
  • Prepare detailed project estimates and review plans and specifications
  • Develop project goals, policies, and schedules
  • Supervise change orders and negotiate project modifications
  • Monitor construction activities, schedule adherence, and budget compliance
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, general contractors, and vendors
  • Conduct site visits to ensure safety, quality, and progress
  • Manage project financials, including billing, expenses, and cost reports
  • Enforce safety protocols and OSHA compliance
  • Lead project meetings and coordinate project closeout procedures
  • Provide leadership, performance feedback, and support to project teams

Position Requirements
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED; Journeyman Electrical License in Delaware and completion of a 4-year electrical apprenticeship
  • 3-5 years of experience managing electrical projects in commercial, institutional, or industrial settings
  • Proven experience managing projects valued between $500,000 and $2.5 million
  • Extensive knowledge of construction practices, safety protocols, and NFPA codes
  • OSHA 10 (required) or OSHA 30 (preferred); First Aid/CPR certified
  • Strong skills in reading plans, specifications, and using estimating and project management software
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel within the Tri-State area as needed
