More about this job >
Description

Great work starts with a good conversation and a team that's excited to build something meaningful together.

Cline is an integrated, nationwide design firm bringing architecture, interior design, planning, landscape architecture, and branding under one roof. We partner with clients to shape places people truly experience-homes, neighborhoods, communities, and workplaces that feel intentional, human, and rooted in purpose.

We're always looking for curious, collaborative teammates: people who communicate clearly, take pride in craft, and believe the best ideas get better when disciplines work side-by-side. If you're drawn to thoughtful design, strong relationships, and a culture that supports growth (and celebrates wins along the way), we'd love to connect.

Our Austin, Charlotte, and Raleigh offices are seeking experienced Project Managers to join our busy, growing teams.

We are particularly interested in candidates who feel that they have outgrown their current position and are looking for a higher level of responsibility and independence and are excited about joining a firm where they are encouraged to grow, both as a Project Manager and a leader.

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Manage the coordination of all project efforts, including administrative, contractual, and technical tasks, to ensure efficient and cost-effective execution.
  • Prepare strategic project plans, develop fees, define scope, and assist with proposals and contract documentation.
  • Serve as the primary client liaison, overseeing budgeting, scheduling, design responsiveness, and long-term relationship building.
  • Actively manage project budgets, schedules, staffing assignments, and internal workflow.
  • Ensure the financial success of each project by monitoring hours, forecasting needs, and controlling scope.
  • Lead, mentor, and oversee a team of Architects and Designers.
  • Coordinate consultant scopes, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Assist with marketing efforts, proposal development, and business development initiatives.
  • May serve in a Team Leader capacity when required.
  • Perform other tasks to support project or studio needs

  • What we look for
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture from an accredited university
  • Experience with multi-family and mixed-used projects preferred
  • Minimum six (6) years of professional experience
  • Professional Licensure required
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling, visualization, and graphic software
  • Revit experience is required
  • Experience in managing client and consultant relationships
  • Demonstrated skills in project design, production and coordination of construction documents, and contract administration
  • Ability to interact positively with others, to solve problems and to constructively communicate those solutions to others
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple deadlines, and perform all responsibilities effectively and on time, with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

Benefits
We offer a full benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life & disability insurance, supplementary insurance, flexible spending accounts, and 401k with company contribution. In addition, PTO, professional development/continuing education allowance, and other perks are provided.
