[DIRECT HIRE] PROJECT MANAGER | INDUSTRIAL | KANSAS CITY |

We have a new search for an Industrial Construction Project Manager.  Support cutting-edge industrial projects, work with a strong team and build a career with this leading, nationwide Specialty Contractor.  Seeking experience working for "Self-Performing" contractors, but not a deal-breaker.

    • Anticipate $90K-$115K, BOE
    • Full suite of benefits: Health, 401K, PTO, etc.
    • Office-based in Kansas City
    • Will require frequent travel to assigned project sites

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage industrial mechanical construction projects from start to finish, overseeing field staff, subcontractors, vendors, and compliance with contracts, budgets, safety, and regulations.
    • Coordinate scheduling, construction activities, and project accounting to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
    • Monitor profitability and maintain strong relationships with clients, inspectors, and internal teams.
    • Lead teams with a focus on ethical practices, safety-first mindset, and supportive communication.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma/GED required;
    • Bachelor's in construction/mechanical engineering, or 5+ years mechanical trade experience/training, or equivalent.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical construction project management on industrial projects (e.g., manufacturing in chemical, food/beverage, automotive, agriculture, oil/gas refining, pet nutrition).
    • Strong knowledge of industry regulations, project coordination, budgeting, and leadership.
    • Valid driver's license, clean record, and ability to pass background/drug screens.
