Overview
The IS Project Manager II, under general direction, formulates/defines system scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements. Devises or modifies solutions to solve complex problems to include analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements and translation into proper system requirement specifications. Possesses technical knowledge of most phases of systems analysis, project management and considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment. Evaluates the need for technology solutions to improve business processes and is responsible for the implementation of these solutions.
