The role of the Construction Project Manager is to plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of specific hospital construction projects, both onsite and offsite for the Atlanta area. You will also be responsible for reporting on work progress and budget matters to leadership. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, other construction and building specialists as well as internal departments within Northside Hospital from the schematic phase through the completion of the project.

The Construction Project Manager will utilize the following:

  • Analytical Skills: Planning for large-scale, multi-step projects.
  • Decision Making: Making lots of decisions, such as picking contractors, architects, interior designers, materials and equipment selection and more.
  • Management Skills: Be an effective leader.
  • Communication: Good writing and speaking skills when communicating with employees, writing proposals, directing contractors, coordinating multiple activities, etc.
  • Technical Skills: Familiar with construction methodologies, space planning, budget estimating, comprehend construction drawings and specifications.
  • Time-Management: Ensuring that everything is on time and moving smoothly is a critical role of the job as well as managing several projects concurrently

  • Bachelor's degree in building science, construction engineering, architecture, civil engineering, or a related field.
  • Three (3) years’ experience as a project manager in a related field with demonstrated knowledge of architectural and engineering design operations.
