Security Clearance: * Applicant must hold or be able to obtain an active Department of Defense (DoD)โ€ฏSECRETโ€ฏ personnel security clearance. Responsibilities: Project Managers show proficient skills associated with the labor category, perform complex tasks independently, and completes assigned tasks on time and to a standard that is satisfactory or better. Provides guidance and oversight to contractors at the junior and mid-experience levels. * Support the prime contractor program manager, government stake holders with the overall planning, direction and success of major programs, systems development efforts, and research or technology initiatives which have great significance to the activities and agency's needs. * Responsible for assisting with the overall program definition, organization, and direction of short- and long-range plans. This includes the responsibility for formulating, guiding, and directing the technical approach; and defining and negotiating with activity and agency personnel for necessary resources. * Establishment and control of technical milestones, schedules, budgets, and costs are also essential tasks for the Program Manager. * Provide program and operations support across acquisition, communication, and leadership initiatives.
