Description:

The Yates Community Center (YCC) is seeking a reliable, organized, creative, and community-minded Events & Programs Coordinator to lead the planning, development, coordination, and execution of community events and programming that support YCC's mission.

Reporting to the Director of Development, this position serves as the primary owner of YCC's events and programming. The Events & Programs Coordinator will independently develop new program ideas, build event plans from concept to completion, coordinate logistics, and oversee successful execution.

The ideal candidate has a background in teaching, training, recreation, organizational management, event planning, or program development and enjoys creating engaging experiences for children, families, athletes, seniors, and community members.

This role requires a self-starter who can manage multiple projects, build relationships throughout the community, and bring fresh ideas that continue to grow YCC's impact

Requirements:
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
