Job description

The Hill is seeking a Temporary Manager of Client Engagement responsible for project management and event logistics for its growing events portfolio.

This position will report to the Director, Client Engagement and collaborate with a dynamic, dedicated team of events, sales and marketing professionals to execute a variety of in-person and virtual thought leadership events.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as point of contact and project manager for a select portion of our live events portfolio
  • Develop and manage event operations, timelines and deliverables, communicating internally and externally with white glove service
  • Take ownership of all facets of bringing an event to life, including establishing processes that create a smooth client journey
  • Responsible for all event logistics, from RFPs to contracting venues to vendors for rentals, catering, security and other aspects of production
  • Coordinate internal meetings for events with a larger internal stakeholder group, as well as sends calendar holds for the team and executives for events
  • Traffic creative with internal teams, clients and venues for on-site event materials and supplies, such as signage, backdrops and sponsor materials
  • Manage on-site set up and production on day of event, from sponsor needs to vendor logistics

Ideal candidates should have 3+ years' experience with event management, public relations, advocacy, communications and/or marketing.

Compensation Range: $35 - $40 (hourly) based upon experience
