Requirements:

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS Sales Market Representative (Performed with or without reasonable accommodation)

  • The position is based in the Central/Southern Oregon sales territory and requires overnight travel approximately 30% of the time.
  • Work closely with brewery and Sales Team to maintain a current and comprehensive understanding of the Oregon Beverage Collective offerings, history, beer styles, new releases and culture
  • Help us increase on- and off-premises points of distribution
  • Call on a minimum of 40 on-premise and 15 off-premise quality and actionable accounts each week
  • Maintain and develop strong buying accounts within territory;
  • Work alongside distributor personnel and within accounts to secure Oregon Beverage Collective sales and long-term buying patterns, promoting new, on-going and “limited” beer releases
  • Increase sales at current accounts and open new accounts
  • Monitor product placement, age, and quality of service
  • Maintain and develop a strong, positive relationship with the distributor sales team to ensure all pre- and post-sales support needs are executed in a timely manner, including brand education and training
  • Define and implement creative promotions/campaigns at key on- and off-premise accounts
  • Develop sales forecasts, identify key market trends, and manage quarterly goals
  • Create and implement Oregon Beverage Collective themed promotions and events at current and potential customers and beer-themed festivals and special events.
  • Communicate product, market and sales trends withing the Sales Team in a timely and constructive manner.

  • Experience at multiple tiers of three-tier distribution (brewer, distributor, on- and off-premises retail)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, mobile applications and technology


JOB REQUIREMENTS - Sales Market Representative

  • Valid driver’s license in the State of Oregon, proof of insurance and a clean driving record
  • Reliable transportation for work

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS - Sales Market Representative

  • Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand and arm movements frequently
  • Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basis
  • While primarily an indoor job, must be able to walk outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat)
  • Must be able to climb stairs both inside and outside and frequently lift 20 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to drive vehicles with either a manual and / or automatic transmission
