Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Assistant Manager, Events & Promotions based at our Charlotte, NC location.
What you will do:
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of trade shows, customer events, dealer meetings, and promotional programs that enhance brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth.

  • Manage all event logistics, including venue selection, registration, travel, accommodations, shipping, catering, audiovisual support, exhibit management, and on-site execution.

  • Oversee event budgets, expense tracking, invoicing, and reporting to ensure programs are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high professional standard.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Dealer Development, National Accounts, and Executive Leadership to develop and execute impactful customer and dealer engagement strategies.

  • Support and drive event communications and awareness campaigns across company platforms to drive attendance, engagement, and lead generation opportunities.

  • Serve as the primary contact for event vendors, hotels, exhibit partners, display providers, and other third-party suppliers to ensure successful event execution.

  • Evaluate event performance and return on investment by tracking results, gathering feedback, and recommending improvements to enhance future events and promotional initiatives.
