Senior Project Manager – Building Envelope

Maryland, Virginia & Washington, DC (Travel Required)

Direct Hire Opportunity with Superior Skilled Trades

Full-Time

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a leading specialty contractor focused on custom building envelope solutions, including curtain wall, architectural wall systems, and glazing. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven construction professional with strong leadership skills and extensive experience managing complex commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Responsibilities
  • Lead projects from preconstruction through final closeout while maintaining schedule, budget, quality, and safety.
  • Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review contracts, develop project budgets, and oversee project financial performance.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, procurement, scheduling, and field operations.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and project documentation.
  • Conduct progress meetings and ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Mentor and develop Project Managers and project teams.
  • Collaborate with preconstruction, estimating, and field teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of progressive project management experience within the building envelope, curtain wall, glazing, or architectural facade industry.
  • Strong background managing commercial construction projects from start to finish.
  • Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and contract administration.
  • Working knowledge of AIA contracts and subcontract management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and construction management software.
  • OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent industry experience).
