Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experience Administrative Project Manager to provide critical support to IT Modernization initiative. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to efficiently manage administrative aspects of the project. The ideal candidate will facilitate a smooth project operation, documentation, and ensure effective communication across all levels of the organization.
The Project Manager:
  1. Develops the Project Charter, including the business cases; Project Plan, including the work breakdown structures; and direct and manage the Project Execution, including Stakeholder management.
  2. Prepares and organizes project documentation, including reports and correspondence. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of project records and maintain version control.
  3. Facilitate communication, written and verbal, within the project team and external stakeholders.
  4. Ensure efficient utilization of project resource both in terms of allocation and tracking, including personnel, equipment, and supplies.
  5. Work closely with the Program Executive to manage new workstream intake, plan, forecast, prepare budgets and proposals, and manage significant risks and issues.
  6. Conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with project requirements and oversee and actively manage workstreams to ensure high levels of quality.
  7. Manage day-to-day interactions with customers and sponsors.
  8. Manages reporting.
  9. Meets legal, regulatory, and policy mandates.
  10. Performs other duties as assigned.

General Experience:
  1. At least seven (7) years of experience in project management.
  2. At least five (5) years of experience supervising or overseeing IT-related projects.
  3. A proven track record of successfully implementing Agile methodologies, including at least five (5) years of experience as a project manager managing major ($1M or more) projects in a high-technology development environment with cross-functional teams.
  4. Experience with agile tools such as Jira or similar applications.
  5. Experience in work planning, monitoring, and reporting.
  6. Experience managing requirements processes, including conducting interviews and documenting technical requirements.
  7. Experience managing vendors and service providers.
  8. Experience working with and managing onsite and remote teams.
  9. Experience with industry-standard System Development Life Cycle methodologies.
  10. Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  11. Demonstrates capacity to engage effectively with stakeholders and all levels.

Qualifications
Education:
  1. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Public Health, or other related discipline. Master's degree and/or project management certification is preferred.
  2. Current Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and current PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), CSM, or equivalent certification

Specialized Experience:
1. At least eight (8) years of experience in supervision or oversight of IT-related programs or projects
