Location: 530 West Broadway, Vancouver BC, Canada
Core hours: Monday to Friday from 8am – 4:30pm PST
We value collaboration, both in-person and remotely. This position is classified as Hybrid under our Hybrid Work Program Policy, where this position is required to be onsite 3 days per week
Role Summary
As the Senior Project Manager - Digital Transformation, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of project delivery for technology projects. In this role, you will be applying project management standards and techniques to ensure that projects are completed successfully, realizing the target objectives and benefits. You will also demonstrate an exceptionally high standard in organizing, directing, and supporting project stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration, communication, and alignment toward shared delivery of project goals. You will report directly to the Vice President of Information Services.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure project scope and milestones are clearly defined and attainable.
  • Ensure plans are sequenced, prioritized, and aligned with resources, team objectives, and technical standards and deliverables.
  • Identify, assess, and proactively communicate project risks, issues, and dependencies, including development of mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain project artifacts which outline project status, individual tasks, milestones, completion estimates, scope, resource allocation, stakeholder & change management, etc.
  • Establish and maintain project governance, including steering committee reporting, decision frameworks, and escalation management.
  • Manage complex, often multi-platform, technical projects with demonstrated ability to assess, plan, and effectively manage technical processes and deliverables.
  • Support project discovery/intake, and initial requirements, with support of Business Analyst and/or technical resources as required.
  • Lead sourcing of subcontractors and suppliers necessary to complete projects as required.
  • Use and maintain project management tools, such as Microsoft Planner, JIRA, Asana, and Confluence.
  • Establish metrics against which project success will be assessed and ensure that the project meets the expectations of the stakeholders.
  • Clearly and accurately establish and maintain project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and project cost performance reports, working in conjunction with Finance and Accounting teams.
  • Continuously contribute to the development, review, and improvement of Eminence’s project management framework including templates, tools, and process improvements.
  • Schedule, administer, and host project meetings with a range of internal and external stakeholders ranging from individual contributors to senior executives.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience leading complex technology/business transformation projects as a Project Manager.
  • Experience acting as the lead Project Manager on a large-scale enterprise implementation, such as ERP.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or a comparable professional designation is preferred.
  • Familiarity and experience with adjacent technical processes including but not limited to Business Analysis, SDLC, QA methodologies.
  • Strong foundational technical knowledge including complex systems design/architecture and project-related impact.
  • Exceptionally strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with an ability to interface well and effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Demonstrated experience identifying change management needs and successfully facilitating process changes.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 suite of products (i.e., Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
  • Familiarity experimenting with AI tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot) to aid in the delivery of Project Management processes and deliverables.
