Job Description:Our client, a leading global consumer fitness/subscription brand, is seeking a Manager, Digital Media (Paid Search & YouTube) to join their Digital Media team as a maternity leave backfill. This is a highly execution-focused role for a true Google Ads platform expert — someone who can step in with minimal ramp-up and immediately own the day-to-day execution of Paid Search and YouTube campaigns. The learning curve should be around the business, not the platforms. This person will manage a focused portfolio of 1-3 accounts within a ~$50M annual Paid Search budget, working closely with internal Paid Search leadership and the client's media agency. This is not a media strategist or generalist role — it's for someone who lives inside Google Ads, Search Ads 360, and YouTube campaigns every day.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Execute and manage Paid Search campaigns (text and Shopping), Performance Max, and YouTube/DemandGen campaigns across the Google ecosystem
  • Work heavily within Search Ads 360 (SA360)
  • Own campaign strategy, forecasting, budget management, and ongoing optimization
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance; deliver weekly reporting including dashboard creation and maintenance
  • Manage campaign budgets and advise on optimization strategy
  • Coordinate creative asset handoffs with internal teams and external agency partners
  • Upload and traffic creative assets into campaigns
  • Manage media tags and testing calendars
  • Collaborate closely with the client's media agency on activation, optimization, budget management, and experiment design
  • Support audience planning, campaign management, measurement, and data application
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to identify weekly/monthly performance improvements
  • Critically evaluate data sources, inventory, and media platforms to maintain competitive advantage
  • Partner with creative teams (internal and external) to coordinate channel-specific creative
  • Run A/B and multivariate testing, in-platform experiments, and landing page/funnel optimization

Minimum Requirements:

  • 4 years of proven expertise in Search and YouTube media execution
  • Expert-level Google Ads experience
  • Deep hands-on experience with Search Ads 360
  • Strong experience with Google Search, YouTube Ads, Google Shopping, and Performance Max
  • Demonstrated enterprise-scale campaign ownership (not high-volume management of many small accounts)
  • Experience managing substantial media budgets
  • Strong campaign reporting, performance analysis, and trafficking experience
  • Significant media-specific spreadsheet skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, media formulas)
  • Clear understanding of pacing, flighting, and channel-specific budget nuances
  • Experience with A/B, multivariate, incrementality, and conversion lift testing
  • Comfortable collaborating with a media agency partner
  • Collaborative, adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background from a media agency (having managed 1-3 large enterprise clients) or performance marketing team
  • Experience in consumer brands, ecommerce, retail, or subscription businesses
  • Acquisition, retail, or ecommerce campaign management experience
  • Familiarity with Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides
  • Experience working with cross-functional internal teams
