Job description

We are seeking a Commission‐Based Project Manager to oversee security and low‐voltage installation projects from kickoff to close‐out. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, client‐focused, and comfortable managing field teams, timelines, and deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day‐to‐day operations for security system installation projects
  • Coordinate technicians, subcontractors, and site schedules
  • Conduct site walks, verify scope, and ensure installation accuracy
  • Maintain clear communication with clients, GCs, and property managers
  • Oversee documentation, change orders, punch lists, and project close‐out
  • Ensure compliance with NYC building standards and jobsite requirements
  • Protect project profitability and timeline integrity

Compensation Structure
This is a commission‐only role. You will earn 5–8% of the total project value, paid upon project completion and client sign‐off. Higher percentages are available for PMs who also bring in new projects or maintain long‐term client relationships.

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in low‐voltage, security systems, or construction project management
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
