Position Summary

The Low Voltage Project Manager is responsible for planning, budgeting, scheduling, overseeing, and documenting all aspects of assigned projects. The Project Manager works closely with operations leadership, field teams, customers, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.

This position requires strong leadership skills, financial accountability, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced construction and technology environment.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Manage low-voltage projects from kickoff through completion and closeout

  • Assemble, lead, and support project teams to ensure successful execution

  • Define project scope, objectives, schedules, and deliverables with internal and external stakeholders

  • Develop and manage project timelines, workforce planning, and resource allocation

  • Create and oversee project budgets, forecasting, and financial performance using Work In Progress (WIP) reporting

  • Maintain ownership of project profitability, job costing, forecasting, and change order management

  • Identify, evaluate, and proactively mitigate project risks and operational issues

  • Ensure projects meet quality standards, customer expectations, and contractual obligations

  • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, clients, and internal departments to maintain seamless communication and execution

  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, project documentation, and closeout packages

  • Monitor project milestones and ensure deliverables remain on schedule

  • Maintain compliance with company policies, industry standards, and customer requirements

  • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with all safety procedures and regulations

  • Support business development efforts and help identify growth opportunities with existing and prospective customers

  • Mentor and support field personnel and project team members

Preferred Experience & Qualifications
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification preferred, or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 5+ years of project management experience in low voltage, structured cabling, security integration, audiovisual, electrical, or related industries

  • Experience managing multiple concurrent commercial construction or technology integration projects

  • Experience managing projects exceeding $500K preferred

  • Strong knowledge of:

    • Structured Cabling

    • Fiber Optics

    • CCTV Systems

    • Access Control

    • Security Integration

    • Audio Visual Systems

    • Network Infrastructure

  • BICSI certifications or industry certifications are a plus
