Description

Doota Industrial America is seeking motivated and dependable Cable Puller Helpers to support electrical and low-voltage installation crews at the Samsung Semiconductor Plant in Taylor, Texas. This position is ideal for individuals looking to begin or grow a career in the electrical construction industry.

As a Cable Puller Helper, you will assist experienced electricians and cable technicians with pulling, routing, organizing, and securing cables throughout an active industrial construction site while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist cable pullers and electricians with pulling wire and cable through conduit, cable trays, and raceways
  • Help stage, organize, and transport cable reels, tools, and materials throughout the job site
  • Support the installation of power, control, communication, and low-voltage cabling
  • Secure cables using ties, clamps, and other approved fastening methods
  • Assist with measuring, labeling, and organizing cables during installation
  • Load and unload materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris
  • Follow instructions from supervisors, lead cable pullers, and electricians
  • Assist with general construction and installation tasks as assigned
  • Observe and comply with all OSHA regulations and Samsung site safety requirements
  • Report safety concerns or damaged equipment immediately
  • Maintain a positive attitude and work effectively as part of a team
SKILLS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:REQUIREMENTS
  • OSHA 10 Certification (required)
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous construction, warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial labor experience preferred
  • Electrical or cable pulling experience is a plus but not required
  • Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
  • Reliable transportation to Taylor, TX
  • Must be available to start work at 6:30 AM
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as project needs require
  • Ability to work safely around heavy equipment and active construction operations
