Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for a rapidly growing Building Automation team. In this role, you will manage projects from start to finish while leading a team of engineers at a high level. You will be the driving force behind project financials, reporting, invoicing, procurement, change order drafting, and customer coordination.


Key Responsibilities:


Manage large-scale projects and/or multiple concurrent projects efficiently.


Take accountability for project margins and implement strategies to increase financial health.


Establish project schedules and meticulously monitor them through completion.


Accurately forecast resources and present Scope, Schedule, and Resource Plans to leadership.


Review potential risk sources and develop proactive mitigation strategies.


Oversee comprehensive project financials, including cost projections, cash flow reporting, and monthly job invoicing.


Quantify, draft, and negotiate change orders and Terms & Conditions with customers.


Serve as the primary commercial contact for customers, ensuring maximum satisfaction.


Enforce quality plans, engineering standards, and QMS participation throughout the project lifecycle.


Determine root causes of plan/schedule deviations and recommend corrective actions.


Provide technical guidance to the project team and contribute to tool development for project management.


Balance project finances, customer satisfaction, and team development seamlessly.


Qualifications:


3-5 years of project leadership experience (Project Management or Technical Lead).


Demonstrated experience organizing, scheduling, and leading meetings with internal teams and customers.


Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Microsoft Project.


Solid understanding of HVAC systems within large building automation systems.


Familiarity with sequences of operations, P&IDs for HVAC, and plant utilities.


Working knowledge of instrumentation and control valves for HVAC systems.


Experience with building automation and/or industrial controls (Rockwell, Schneider, AVEVA, Inductive Automation) is highly preferred.


Onsite commissioning experience is a strong plus.


Excellent communication, planning, organization, leadership, and motivational skills.
