  • Strong understanding of automated conveyor systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), motors, drive systems, and control systems with hands-on troubleshooting experience
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to make quick, sound decisions during system failures and high-pressure emergency situations
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for work order management, preventative maintenance scheduling, and performance tracking

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in baggage handling system operations, airport facilities management, or automated material handling environments
  • Project management experience with proven track record of leading system upgrades, capital improvement projects, or large-scale maintenance initiatives
  • Advanced knowledge of relevant safety regulations including OSHA standards, airport operational requirements, and industry best practices for conveyor system maintenance
  • Experience implementing reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) programs or total productive maintenance (TPM) methodologies that improve system uptime and reduce costs
  • Strong data analytics capabilities with ability to use maintenance metrics to drive continuous improvement, predict failures, and optimize maintenance strategies
