- Oversee all phases of healthcare architecture projects-from planning and schematic design through construction administration and closeout.
- Define project scope, schedules, deliverables, and resource plans; monitor and adjust to maintain profitability and quality.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
- Lead project documentation efforts, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with building codes, regulations, and healthcare standards.
- Develop and manage project budgets in coordination with internal teams and clients; identify and address potential budgetary concerns.
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, cultivating strong, long-term relationships built on trust and transparency.
- Actively engage clients throughout the design and construction process, setting expectations, providing updates, and addressing concerns.
- Represent the firm in project presentations, community engagement, and client meetings.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:

Construction Administration:
- Provide oversight during construction phases, including reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, conducting site visits, and addressing field conditions.
- Monitor construction progress and collaborate with contractors to resolve issues and ensure design intent is maintained.
Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance:
- Maintain working knowledge of relevant healthcare codes and standards (e.g., FGI, ADA, IBC, NFPA).
- Conduct regular quality control reviews and implement corrective actions as needed to uphold design integrity and performance.
Travel Requirements:
This role requires approximately 10-20% travel for project-related needs, including site visits, client meetings, and occasional industry events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
