  • Ten years + of US architectural project experience with experience in mid-rise wood construction.
  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Architecture or related field.
  • Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite experience
  • A License or NCARB Certification is preferred.

Day-to-Day
Project Leadership & Oversight
•          Lead architectural projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with budget, schedule, and quality standards.
•          Understand, plan, track, and deliver projects with a clear grasp of client requirements, proposals, contracts, and scope.
Client & Stakeholder Management
•          Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
•          Collaborate with Authorities Having Jurisdiction and other authorities to support project progression and community impact.
Quality Assurance & Consultant Coordination
•          Coordinate with consultants and review/redline drawings for quality assurance at key milestones (30%, 60%, 90%).
•          Ensure timely and accurate preparation of Construction Documents and Construction Administration.
Risk Management & Problem Solving
•          Identify potential risks early and develop strategic solutions.
•          Tackle complex technical and design challenges with depth of knowledge and strategic insight.
Documentation & Standards
•          Maintain project documentation including plans, reports, and schedules.
•          Uphold DC Standards, brand submittal guidelines, building codes, and zoning regulations.
