Essential Duties of the Superintendent role include but are not limited to:
The role of superintendent requires a self-motivated individual who has experience as a Construction Superintendent, preferably working with public entities.
We are looking for candidates who can build and maintain working relationships with other team members which include Owners, Senior Management, Superintendents, and Subcontractors. At Soltek you will be responsible for the supervision of all construction activities on the project.
Project Responsibilities
  • Supervising all construction activities.
  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of the baseline schedule and maintaining a 3-week short term schedule.
  • Supervising, monitoring and coordinating subcontractors and self-performed labor.
  • Documenting daily progress via daily reports.
  • Issuing RFI's and assisting in resolving design issues and constructability reviews with the Designer of Record.
  • Working closely with the Project Manager and Quality Control Manager in all other aspects of the project.

To be successful in this role, a qualified candidate will:
  • Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ progressive years of experience in construction, with previous experience as a superintendent.
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Knowledge of Procore and P6, highly preferred.
  • Proven experience successfully managing a job site and subcontractors.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000 per year
