LEAD ELECTRICIAN
Location: South Amboy, NJ
Pay: $35.00–$45.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

ABOUT SHORE LINE ELECTRIC
Shore Line Electric LLC is a growing electrical contractor serving commercial, multifamily, residential, and service clients throughout New Jersey. Since 2012, we've built our reputation on quality workmanship, professionalism, and long-term customer relationships.
We're looking for an experienced Lead Electrician who can take ownership of projects, mentor apprentices, and consistently deliver high-quality work. At Shore Line Electric, you won't be left on your own—you'll work side by side with other experienced Lead Electricians and directly with the owner, who remains actively involved in day-to-day operations and field work. Our projects include commercial tenant fit-outs, medical facilities, multifamily housing, custom homes, service work, generators, lighting retrofits, electrical renovations, and service upgrades throughout New Jersey. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead commercial and residential electrical projects from rough-in through completion.
- Read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings.
- Install EMT, PVC, MC cable, Romex, lighting, panels, transformers, and electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform service work.
- Coordinate work with project managers, customers, and other trades.
- Supervise and mentor apprentices and junior electricians.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code and Shore Line Electric's quality standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years of electrical experience.
- Commercial electrical experience preferred.
- Experience leading projects or small crews.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
- Professional attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Reliable, dependable, and safety-minded.
