Task Project Manager 2Location: Waynesboro, GA Contract- 3 monthsClient- Southern NuclearJob SummaryThe Task Project Manager 2 will provide essential oversight and coordination of task-level projects, with a specific focus on containment inspection activities in a nuclear power plant environment. This position involves managing project execution in the field, coordinating contract administration, and ensuring compliance with project timelines, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage specific projects or tasks, ensuring execution aligns with project plans and regulatory requirementsTrack task/project progress and report updates to leadership and stakeholdersCoordinate contractor activities, equipment setup, and inspection supportServe as a Contract Administrator / Task Director for Engineering inspections (e.g., IWL Containment)Ensure proper documentation, compliance, and quality control throughout the project lifecycleSupport contractor mobilization, logistics, and site coordinationEnsure adherence to all safety protocols and procedures on siteConduct fieldwork outdoors, including physical activity such as climbing laddersProvide real-time problem-solving and resolution of on-site issuesMinimum RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related disciplineExperience: 6–10 years of experience managing projects or tasks within the energy or utilities sector; experience with Nuclear Power Plant projects strongly preferred; previous field project oversight and contract administration experienceCertifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferredSkills & AbilitiesStrong understanding of project planning, scheduling, and task managementEffective coordination and leadership skills, especially in contractor/vendor interactionsFamiliarity with regulatory compliance in the nuclear or energy sectorAbility to work independently in a field-based environmentStrong communication and documentation skillsProficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, and other project management toolsPhysically able to work outdoors for extended periods and climb ladders as requiredWork EnvironmentField-based role; must be comfortable working outdoors throughout the dayRequires PPE and adherence to safety protocols for nuclear facilitiesWill involve working directly at a nuclear power plant inspection site
