A Snapshot of Your Day
This position acts as a local project manager in the Operational Excellence Department in Richland, MS reporting to Switchgear Americas Cluster Project Management Office Manager with a local report for Switchgear Americas Operational Excellence Manager for strategic projects on Richland site for Switchgears Americas.
The employee will be located at Richland, MS factory and will be part of local strategic deployment of measures, projects and programs related to Safety, Quality and Productivity over all areas from the site, being part of cluster PMO structure and local Operational Excellence team.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Support local site in any case of escalation, risk management, resources management, and take decisions with support from Cluster PMO Manager
  • Identify gaps to target achievement, triggering new measures and projects locally
  • Act as a "go-to" person for people in terms of questions and support needed for all PMO initiatives
  • Translate global & cluster program strategy into local strategy and project
  • Responsible for driving local project measure implementation by working with various department action item owners
  • Monitoring dependencies across multiple inter-related projects
  • Gathering and reporting consolidated project status and financial information to leadership
  • Ensure that all standard templates and reports will be executed by project and measure owners
  • Prepare local meetings according to report governance structure with measure and project owners
  • Prepare and support Cluster PMO Manager on reporting topics on Steering Committee meetings.
  • Support Cluster Operational Excellence manager on resources prioritization and local escalation topics
  • Provide transparency to local management and cluster team about program status, issues and measures efficiency

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required; MBA or postgraduate degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of project management experience driving Lean, productivity, or strategic initiatives; manufacturing experience preferred. Candidates with less experience may be considered for a higher level or vice versa.
  • Strong project governance, planning, and execution skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and sound decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
  • PMP, CAPM, or equivalent certification preferred.
