Project Manager
Who Are We: RAM Hotels - a dynamic, thriving, innovative hotel management company headquartered in Columbus, Georgia. In the last few years, we have quietly and steadfastly taken our place as a leader in the hospitality sector, serving some of the most well-known midscale brands in key markets throughout Alabama and Georgia.
SUMMARY: We know we are onto something big, are now gearing up for a period of rapid, stable and sustainable growth. Project Manager(PM) role will report directly to President & Exec Vice President. PM is responsible for managing budget, timeline, process, design & construction for new-build/conversion and renovation project for the company. The project manager will direct & coordinate between architect, civil engineer, Interior Designer, Brand Partner & General Contractor in all activities concerned with the construction and renovation of hotels. Maintain and manage company branding as hotel developer thru all social media like platform.
Education
โ€ข 4-year degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture or Engineering preferred, or equivalent work experience within the industry
โ€ข Applicable professional licenses/certifications encouraged
Professional Experience
โ€ข Minimum 4 years progressive field construction experience preferably in the hospitality industry.
Computer Experience
Proficiency in:
โ€ข Microsoft Office, Excel, Bluebeam, Adobe products, Project & Database Management Software (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project)
โ€ข Computer skills including the ability to operate computerized accounting, spreadsheet and word-processing programs, and e- mail at a highly proficient level
Duties and Functions:
โ€ข Managing a robust new-build/conversion and renovation pipeline for the company.
โ€ข Facilitating the delivery of Marriott Select Brand projects with a focus on schedule, budget and to the quality standards required by the organization.
โ€ข Providing value-added project decisions for the company utilizing construction industry experience, team collaboration and negotiation skills.
โ€ข Relationship builder to provide consistent communications to various company departments and hotel management teams.
โ€ข Coordinating all aspects of the project delivery process with Design, Development, Procurement, Finance, Risk Management and various other departments
โ€ข Utilizing a proprietary database / project management software to track multiple projects for accurate reporting and forecasting to internal stakeholders.
โ€ข Establishing a detailed knowledge and ability to deliver on brand strategy projects through close coordination with internal team disciplines.
โ€ข Responsible for coordination and documentation of all milestone site observations.
โ€ข Market and actively support the products and services provided by RAM Hotels
โ€ข Sharing best practices and lessons learned to promote continuous product and process improvement.
โ€ข Perform other projects/assignments based on business needs/demands.
โ€ข Review and processing of payment requisitions, material submittals/shop drawings, and change order requests.
โ€ข Development of project schedules; tracking and review of construction documents.
โ€ข Developing, executing and managing contracts in accordance with divisional contracting policies and corporate guidelines.
โ€ข Knowledge of procurement processes from Bill of Materials and FF&E Management.
โ€ข Consultant contracting and scope management.
โ€ข Developing of qualified bidders list of General Contractors.
โ€ข Preparing bid packages, contracts and material orders.
โ€ข Budget forecasting and development of monthly construction project reports.
โ€ข Maintain and update vendor files and file numbers
โ€ข Provide administrative support to ensure effective and efficient office operations

Skills & Physical Requirements

โ€ข Able to stand, sit, and walk, for more than 4 hours in one session. Long hours required sometime.
โ€ข Ability to travel 60-75% of the time.
