Position Summary

Lead complex audiovisual, unified communications, and videoconferencing projects from post-sales through closeout while mentoring the AV Project Management team. Serve as primary client contact, drive on-time/on-budget delivery, and strengthen operational consistency and team performance.


Essential Responsibilities

Project Delivery

- Plan, execute, and close audiovisual, UC, and video conferencing projects (scope, schedule, staffing, budget, risk).

- Coordinate sales, engineering, procurement, field teams, subcontractors, manufacturers, and clients.

- Oversee installation, configuration, commissioning, testing, and acceptance.

- Manage budgets, labor, change orders, invoicing, and financial performance; deliver on time and under budget.

- Maintain accurate documentation and drive resource utilization goals.

- Complete closeout (punch lists, documentation, financial reconciliation, lessons learned).

Client Management

- Act as primary client contact; communicate status, risks, and milestones.

- Build long-term relationships and resolve issues to protect customer satisfaction.

- Support recovery plans for at-risk projects.

Team Leadership

- Mentor, coach, and develop Project Managers; support recruiting, onboarding, and training.

- Balance workloads, provide performance feedback, and conduct evaluations.

- Maintain accurate forecasts for self and direct reports.

- Foster accountability, collaboration, and high performance.

Operational Excellence

- Improve and document Project Management SOPs and cross-functional workflows.

- Drive continuous improvement in consistency, profitability, and execution quality.

- Ensure timely financial forecasting, weekly time approval, and adherence to company methodology.

- Support portfolio-level visibility into successes, risks, and improvement opportunities.


Qualifications

Required Experience

- 5+ years audiovisual project management experience managing multiple concurrent integration projects.

- Leadership, mentoring, or supervisory experience preferred.

- Strong knowledge of commercial AV integration and installation practices.
