Up Campus Management is hiring a Sales and Marketing Intern to support leasing and marketing efforts at Blume on 16th, a student housing community located in Columbus, Ohio. This role plays an important part in creating a positive resident experience while supporting occupancy and leasing goals through outreach, relationship-building, marketing initiatives, and customer service.


The Sales and Marketing Intern serves as a brand ambassador for the property and works closely with onsite leadership to support leasing activity, community engagement, resident retention, and campus outreach efforts. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is outgoing, organized, connected within the student community, and interested in sales, marketing, hospitality, or property management.


ABOUT THE ROLE


The Sales and Marketing Intern supports the property's leasing and marketing strategy through prospect outreach, resident engagement, social media support, and participation in marketing events. This role assists with tours, follow-up communication, lead management, and relationship-building efforts throughout the local university community. The position also supports administrative tasks related to leasing, reporting, and resident experience initiatives.


WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR


Leasing & Resident Experience

  • Provide excellent customer service to current and prospective residents
  • Conduct community tours and assist with the leasing process
  • Respond to prospect inquiries through phone, email, text, and in-person communication
  • Support resident retention and assist with roommate matching efforts
  • Assist with lease paperwork and maintain accurate leasing records

Marketing & Outreach

  • Support property marketing campaigns and leasing initiatives
  • Represent the property at campus and community events
  • Build relationships with student organizations, campus groups, and local businesses
  • Assist with social media content and brand awareness efforts
  • Promote a positive community image both online and in person

Administrative & Team Support

  • Maintain accurate prospect and leasing data within Entrata
  • Assist with leasing reports, audits, and follow-up tracking
  • Participate in community events and resident engagement activities
  • Support additional projects and operational needs as assigned
  • Participate in required company training and meetings

Requirements

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 1-2 years of customer service, sales, hospitality, or student housing experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Social media and marketing experience preferred
  • Comfortable speaking with prospective residents and representing the property professionally
  • Experience with Entrata or similar property management software preferred
  • Strong connections within the local student community preferred
  • Available to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Able to work at least 15 hours per week onsite
