What role you will play in our team 

As an Projects Engineering Intern, you could support projects in Mechanical Integrity, Process Engineering, Process Control, Process Development, Product Development, Project Development, Project Management, Quality Control, Modeling and Optimization, Test Method Development, Wells Engineering, Wells Operations, Safety, Environmental, Reservoir, and Supply Chain. 
 

What You'll Do

Some responsibilities may include:

Safety and Compliance

  • Participate in site safety programs, supporting effective implementation of the Project Safety Plan and ensuring SSH&E expectations are met during execution
    Project Planning and Execution Support
  • Provide support for cost, schedule, and controls deliverables, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project objectives
  • Contribute execution input during early project development, supporting preparation of key deliverables
  • Assist in developing the Project Plan, SSH&E Plan, and contracting / procurement strategies, and support implementation during execution

Performance Monitoring

  • Monitor and appraise contractor execution against plans and specifications, and collaborate on improvement plans to close performance gaps
  • Track project, functional, and business discipline support activities, ensuring timely completion of reviews, resolution of technical queries, and required actions

Issue Management

  • Support the project issue management plan, stewarding actions to resolution and maintaining alignment with project objectives


About you 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree; preferred degrees include Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or similar programs
  • University Engineering student available for a work term beginning in January or May 2027
  • Currently enrolled in a University Engineering program and returning to full-time studies after the work term
  • Your most recent unofficial transcript(s) must be submitted with your application
