We are looking for a highly motivated and analytical Middle Mile Solutions Intern to support our rapidly growing e-commerce logistics network. This role will work closely with linehaul operations, carrier management, planning, product, and analytics teams to identify operational pain points, support process improvements, and help standardize workflows across middle-mile and linehaul operations. The intern will gain hands-on exposure to e-commerce logistics operations, carrier performance management, SOP development, frontline feedback collection, and data-driven continuous improvement initiatives. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in supply chain, logistics, operations, or data analytics to learn how large-scale fulfillment networks are designed, monitored, and improved. This role requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, communication skills, and a willingness to work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Carrier Management & Performance Support - Support tracking and analysis of carrier operational performance across middle-mile and linehaul networks, including service quality, compliance, and execution consistency - Assist in preparing carrier performance reviews, issue summaries, and follow-up action trackers - Help identify recurring carrier issues by analyzing operational data and frontline feedback - Support carrier onboarding, readiness reviews, and documentation of operational playbooks SOP Design & Operational Standardization - Assist in documenting and maintaining SOPs for linehaul dispatch, execution, escalation, and exception management - Support workflow standardization across shifts, lanes, and facilities to reduce execution variability - Help ensure SOPs are clear, practical, and easy for frontline teams to follow - Partner with operations teams to collect feedback on SOP rollout, training, and adoption Frontline Feedback & System Improvements - Gather feedback from linehaul dispatchers, dispatcher leads, and operations teams to identify operational pain points - Summarize operational issues and translate them into clear process, tooling, or system improvement requests - Support product, engineering, and analytics partners by preparing requirement summaries, issue trackers, and pilot feedback - Assist in validating new features or process changes through pilot programs and user feedback collection Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work with operations, product, engineering, planning, yard, and warehouse partners to support network improvement initiatives - Participate in cross-functional meetings and help track action items, timelines, and success metrics - Support the team in preparing business reviews, project updates, and operational performance summaries Continuous Improvement & Network Health - Monitor middle-mile and linehaul performance metrics to identify trends, exceptions, and improvement opportunities - Support initiatives focused on improving on-time performance, reducing dwell time, minimizing service failures, and improving dispatcher efficiency - Assist with peak readiness, surge planning, and network change management preparation
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field - Strong interest in e-commerce logistics, fulfillment operations, transportation, or supply chain management - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail - Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets; ability to organize, analyze, and summarize data - Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams - Self-motivated, fast learner, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications - Previous internship, project, or coursework experience in logistics, supply chain, operations, consulting, or data analytics - Familiarity with dashboards or BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms - Basic SQL or data analytics skills - Familiarity with transportation management systems, routing tools, or logistics optimization concepts - Interest in modern e-commerce platforms and fulfillment operations

[For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Hourly) - Campus Intern
The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $23.75- $23.75.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year). Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for housing allowance.
